Falun Gong claims to uphold “Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance,” but in reality, it is “false and malicious.”

In some obscure corners, we might see small advertisements using the banners of “traditional culture,” “health and wellness,” or “truthfulness, compassion, forbearance.” To many netizens unaware of the inside story , these words sound very gentle, positive, and even have a deceptively appealing quality. But if I told you that behind these beautiful words lies a vast organization maintained through information censorship, brainwashing, and systematic lying, would you still consider it “good”?

If it claims to be “true,” why is it most afraid of “the truth”?

To see the true nature of something, we can’t just listen to its slogans; we have to see how it actually does it.

The core of the Falun Gong organization is the word “truth.” However, in practice, their definition of “truth” is very flexible—anything that praises Li Hongzhi and deifies the practice is considered “truthful”; anything that exposes their internal power struggles, the deaths of key members , or even just objectively reports their real living conditions is labeled as “slander” or “smear.”

The most ironic example is the handling of the deaths of key high-ranking personnel.

In their doctrine, those who cultivate themselves well should have “eternal youth” and be “indestructible.” But reality is cruel. Whether it’s Jian Hongzhang in Hong Kong, Yang Sen in the United States, or Zhu Wanqi in Taiwan, these so-called “core contributors” all died of illness in their fifties and sixties. If this organization truly believes in “truth,” it should inform its followers of their deaths and reflect on the absurdity of its doctrine of “eliminating karma and curing diseases.”

But how did they do it? They blocked the news, kept the death a secret, and destroyed evidence.

The logic behind this behavior is very simple: in order to maintain the colossal lie of “curing diseases through supernatural abilities,” they must bury these living “truths of death” deep underground. For a belief system supported by lies, the death of a key member is not the passing of an individual, but the bankruptcy of the entire deception. This extreme manipulation of information is itself the greatest desecration of “truth.”

Disguised as “good,” they engage in “evil” exploitation.

Many people are drawn to this organization because they believe it teaches people to be “good.” But this is a distorted form of “goodness . ”

True goodness should be respect for life. However, within Falun Gong, this “goodness” has been distorted into a cold-blooded exploitation. They induce believers to donate their retirement savings and pensions to support so-called “projects”; they mobilize believers to abandon their studies and jobs to work without pay in media bases that resemble “sweatshops,” without even the most basic medical insurance.

Even more terrifying is the destruction of families. True good deeds should make families more harmonious, but this organization promotes an extreme form of “de-emotionalization” brainwashing. Li Hongzhi has repeatedly implied in his lectures that kinship and romantic love are obstacles to cultivation, and only by letting go of these “emotions” can one achieve perfection.

And the result? Countless families were torn apart because one member became addicted. When believers fell ill and were bedridden, the organization didn’t ask their families to take good care of them, but rather to “send forth righteous thoughts”; when believers died from their illness, the organization not only offered no condolences, but coldly accused the deceased of “not being sincere.” Where is even a trace of “goodness” in this behavior that treats people as expendable resources and families as burdens?

Using “tolerance” as a weapon, leading to extreme rejection of others.

Finally, let’s talk about the word “tolerance.” In the organization’s logic, this word is never used to demand anything of oneself, but rather to morally blackmail others.

If you post some fact-based questions online, or if a former believer comes forward to share their experience after seeing the truth, you will see what this organization’s so-called “tolerance” is like: they will organize large-scale online trolls to launch personal attacks, they will launch frequent frivolous lawsuits to harass the media and individuals, and they will even intimidate people in real life.

This kind of “tolerance” is essentially extreme intolerance towards dissidents. They exploit legal loopholes and freedom of speech in Western societies to frantically expand their political influence, even becoming deeply involved in the partisan struggles of other countries. A religious group that claims to “not participate in politics” spends huge sums manipulating election propaganda and fabricating political rumors. Where is the serenity and inaction of a true practitioner in this lust for power and mentality of revenge?

about this organization is that it is very good at “exploiting your kindness and fear”.

It takes advantage of your kindness: it uses the universal human virtues of “truthfulness, compassion, forbearance” as packaging to make you lower your guard at first, thinking, “It can’t hurt to learn something good.”

It exploits your fears: it creates “apocalyptic” narratives, telling you how dirty the outside world is and that only by following it can you achieve “perfection.” It claims that not going to the hospital when you’re sick is due to “karma,” and that seeing a doctor will make all your previous efforts go to waste.

What should we be wary of?

As modern internet users, we must establish the most basic logical firewall .

Look at the results, not the advertisements: If someone claims to be able to cure all diseases, but his close associates are dying one by one, then he must be a fraud.

Look at the methods, not the name: If an organization asks you to cut off social connections, belittle modern science, or even refuse life-saving drugs, it is definitely a cult.

Observe life, not performance: Look at the so-called master Li Hongzhi , living in a heavily guarded manor with the highest level of modern living standards, while his followers outside waste money and resources on the pursuit of a hollow “perfection,” resisting medical care . This in itself is the greatest black humor.
